ITS FRIDAY! FINALLY! And LiTTLE RAMONAS want to share with you our "most played" songs of the week-end. Therefore, you will keep us in mind when you're putting your dancing shoes on. Have an awesome weekend everyone!!! and remember... BE BAD, STAY CHIC. The pic? Me in the blue, just having a little fun with my little creatures. Ramona style.
It's Thursday and we're feeling sexy. What better thing to do than hit play to one of our favorite sexy songs? Yes, its called Sex Appeal fromSexy Sushi. It's french, it's catchy, and it's sexy. It will help you keep the mood for the upcoming sexy weekend... which of course, we're more than ready to explore. RAMONAS' PICK:
The Knife's member Karin Dreijer Andersson has been working on a successful side project "Fever Ray." Take a look at her new released video from the song "When I Grow Up." Directed by Martin de Thurah.
"I think its very interesting when you can remove yourself from the music, even if you are the one creating it. That’s the thing with music, it allows you the possibilities to erase yourself for certain moments.” -Andersson
All her songs illustrate mystery, always with a dark, however, interesting side. Obsessed with Miami Vice, she confesses it has been a way of inspiration for her forthcoming self-titled solo album. For me, The Knife has always been one of the most successful bands. They are consistend with their original sound, but at the same time never let us down. Glad to have Andersson back, with a taste of her exclusive music.
Perfect words to describe this three-piece band from Brooklyn. Twins paired with Benjamin Curtis have creat and excusive sound with their new album Alpinism; taking us to epic stories with futuristic dreamy journeys using and creating psychedelic-abstract sounds for us. What else could we ask for? Actually; it gets even better, the trio is touring with the best duo ever united: Fujiya & Miyagi. Take a look at their new video. Enjoy my little creatures! .... we can’t forget to wish you all some sex-love-&-rock&roll on your valentine’s day. LOVE LOVE LOVE.
Follow the golden fox, through the golden door. Take the golden key, go down to the golden hall... This "golden" world is never ending. From their name to their lyrics to the golden filters they use in their pictures, which by they way I recommend to check them out in their myspace, Golden Filter is definitely in my most played list. Here are two more tracks (and a recovered one) that I forgot to post in the previous Golden Filter post. Enjoy guys! It's Thursday, we deserve it...
After leaving us wanting more with Dreams (2006), Erlend Oye's Whitest Boy Alive returns with Rules (will be released on March 2009). However, LiTTLE RAMONAS' new obsession couldn't wait that long! Therefore, we have picked out some of our favorite tunes from this masterpiece. Why did they call it RULES? Well, very simple: each and every track describes a different rule that one must follow in order to survive this world of love, jealousy, and obsessions. Don't believe us? Well, then have a minute to hear them out! They will definitely teach us one thing or two with their words, instruments, and tunes. LOVE, THE.RAMONAS
